Hazel Marshall KC speaks at ACTAPS Guernsey

HH Hazel Marshall KC of Barrule Mediation Services will give the main address at the ACTAPS Guernsey event on Wednesday 4 November 2026.
Hazel’s talk, “Royal Court of Guernsey. Do’s and Don’ts: some guidance from the bench”, draws on her experience as Lieutenant Bailiff. She’ll set out what helps a case in the Royal Court and what gets in the way, with examples of good and poor practice. She’ll also cover a few areas where practitioners could do better.
ACTAPS co-chairs Josh Lewison of Radcliffe Chambers and Lucinda Brown of Mills & Reeve will open the evening with a short update. A question and answer session will follow Hazel’s talk.
The event is fully booked, with senior Guernsey practitioners and lawyers from London attending. Collas Crill is hosting it at its offices.
Hazel’s work with Barrule Mediation Services covers mediation and arbitration in trust, probate and commercial disputes. We’re grateful to ACTAPS and Collas Crill for the invitation.
