Offshore Trusts Disputes Forum 2026

Hazel Marshall KC, of Barrule Mediation Services Limited, will speak at the inaugural Offshore Trusts Disputes Forum in Jersey on 29-30 September. Alison Ozanne, Executive Director, will attend.

The forum is hosted by ThoughtLeaders4 and the Contentious Trusts Association at The Royal Yacht Hotel, St Helier. It brings together practitioners from Jersey, Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Cayman, BVI, Bermuda and London to discuss how international private wealth disputes are developing, and what that means for trustees and their advisers.

Barrule Mediation Services was set up on a simple premise. Most trust disputes don't need a trial to resolve them. They need an early, structured conversation, run by someone who understands both the law and the family dynamics sitting underneath it. Hazel brings that experience to the mediation table. Alison brings 28 years on the litigation side, so the group sees a dispute from both ends before deciding how to approach it.
