Barrule Partners Joined by International Finance Lawyer Nicole Pineda as Global Client Relationship Director

Barrule Partners has been joined by Nicole Pineda as Global Client Relationship Director, further deepening the Group’s client offering and international reach.

Nicole joins Barrule with more than two decades of experience advising clients on complex international finance and corporate transactions. A lawyer qualified in England and Wales, the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands, she has held senior leadership positions at some of the offshore industry's most respected law firms and has advised clients across the U.S., Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

An Oxford University law graduate and a summa cum laude graduate in International Economics from George Washington University, Nicole has built a distinguished career spanning international banking and finance, structured finance and capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, investment funds and regulatory governance.

Throughout her career, Nicole has established and led specialist practice groups at leading offshore firms including Walkers, where she conceived, launched and led the management of the firm’s Global Latin American Group and Regulatory Banking Practice, before moving on to launch and lead Americas-focused finance and structured finance practices at other leading offshore law firms.

At Barrule, Nicole will focus on developing and deepening client relationships, particularly in the fiduciary space, with a focus on the Latin American market, where over the years she has built lasting relationships with UHNW families.  Her work in the region has often spanned both sides of the wealth equation; advising leading banks and corporates on international capital markets transactions and corporate bond issuances, whilst building trusted relationships with the founders, families and family offices behind those businesses. That understanding of both the businesses that create the wealth and the families who own it provides a natural bridge to Barrule’s fiduciary offering. The region presents huge opportunities for Barrule Group, and more widely Guernsey itself. Nicole will also support the continued growth of the firm’s corporate and advisory services business.
